About the Pantry
Musselburgh Community Pantry is a local, volunteer-run charity, providing the community with access to a range of fresh, chilled, frozen and cupboard items, including household supplies. We reduce waste by working with local suppliers and invest in the community by providing food at reduced prices.

- Choice-based shopping experience – not a pre-packaged parcel of food
- Get 10 credits for £3.50, and choose your own items which are priced at one or two credits

Visit
Come during opening hours and choose your items. You choose the items you want from the shelves and fridges.
Save
Pay a small set fee for a basket that’s worth much more than the price.

Is this the same as a foodbank?
No. Pantries offer low-cost groceries with choice, helping budgets go further while reducing waste.
How is the Pantry funded?
Through donations, grants and customer payments for credits.
